I am Regina Ortiz, director and founder of the first Event Boutique in Panama. Social Communicator by profession, I worked for several years as a journalist in television, radio and press media in my country. Later on, I obtained a Master’s Degree in Marketing and Advertising with emphasis in advertising, as well as a Postgraduate Degree in Senior Management, which has allowed me to merge creativity with business strategy in my career.

My passion for weddings and events was born thanks to my mother and grandmother, pioneers in baking in Panama. Since I was a child I would accompany them to assemblies, watching them create beautiful wedding candies with handmade pastillage flowers. That inspiration led me to follow this path and, at the age of 21, I decided to make my life project a reality: Regina Events (RE), a company that was born as a university thesis with a five-year business plan, and since 2010 has established itself as a benchmark brand in the bridal sector.

Throughout my career I have worked in advertising agencies, radio, television, press, public relations and banking (marketing), experiences that gave me a comprehensive vision to strengthen my company. With over 100 weddings organized, including my first Destination Wedding in Villahermosa, Mexico with 300 guests in 2017, I have specialized in destination weddings, multicultural weddings and Chinese weddings, training internationally with entities such as:
